Band Together Buffalo was started in mid-March 2020 as a response to the pandemic shutdown to provide musicians who had lost gigs a platform to live stream amidst the unknowns. While the streams lasted a few months, the local music scene continued to remain shut down.

So, with the winter looming, the people behind Band Together Buffalo built a coalition of local businesses and music enthusiasts to collaborate on the Shutdown Showcase in early 2021 where we featured 122 local acts from Western New York.

The team got back together in late 2021 to begin work on Season 3 which will air on YouTube and Facebook in the winter of 2022.

Our goal has remained the same throughout – to support the local music community in Western New York. Ultimately, our long term goal is to foster enduring, tangible results from which the artists, venues, producers, sponsors and viewers all benefit from this undertaking.
